Hello hello
Last week, a group of friends brought up the topic of friendships out of high school.
I've always had a lot to say about this but I feel like every time somebody brings it up, my thoughts always change slightly.
Not completely, just slightly.
Well it's been on my mind for a while, so I thought I'd just pass my thoughts on it I guess.
I don't think friendships out of high school are impossible.
It happens a lot actually but when it comes to my group of friends, it's hard to see it happening.
I wish our friendships would last but it would be so hard.
Our group is made up of a lot of different personalities. I think there would be heaps of personality clashes, if it weren't for the fact that nobody wants to start problems.
It sounds like a good thing right? But that's the thing, we're friends.
If we were really that good of friends that are able to still be friends after high school, we shouldn't have to feel like we're not allowed to say how we feel without feeling like it'll start problems.
I mean I feel the friendships I have now are hard to keep as it is. I can't imagine what'll be like if we didn't have to see each other for nearly every single day.
I think what's most important about maintaining friendships is trust and like the amount of people I think trust me in the group is like less then 3 lol idek
and that goes the same for people on the group who I can trust too tbh
When we leave high school, some of us will pair/group off and some of us will leave the group completely (not a bad thing though).
DON'T GET ME WRONG I LUV MY FRIENDS TO DEATH AND WISH I COULD BE FRIENDS FOREVER SERIOUSLY. NO JOKE.
but reality tbh
yeah just my 2 cents
