It's funny how, I sing songs all the time about love and relationships but have never been in one myself.
I have only ever been in love once.
We were childhood friends which later progressed into a bestfriendship.
Although we were only best friends, we were closer then ever.
We even had a "couple" name. Myungendy. Or Freakhin L (freaking hell?)
She thought of the last one. It was so typical of her to be so cute and silly.
We were inseparable.
Until she then left me.
Wendy moved to a different school and I never heard of her again.
She was one of those girls who didn't sugercoat things.
Wendy knew that after she left, the chances of us ever meeting again were slim.
We had the sort of friendship that needed us to be able to physically see each other or it just wouldn't work.
Our chemistry wasn't the same online or over the phone.
It's not to say that we didn't constantly try to talk on the phone or online.
But as time went by us interacting like this wasn't going to cut it.
Us being apart took it's toll on me.
But I managed to find my saviour in music.
Music filled the hole which she previously filled.
I pursued my love for music and now I'm in one of Korea's top boybands, Infinite.
The members of Infinite are my brothers, brought together through our mutual love for music and we've stayed together though our love for each other.
The songs we sing have a distinctive sound. A lot darker then some of the material in the kpop scene but we have received much love for it.
I guess the thing I love most about our songs are the lyrics. The meaning behind some of our songs are so beautiful.
I know it's kind of weird coming from a guy but the things we sing about can be so sad and yet so perfect sounding.
I also love the lyrics because of the fact that I can so easily relate to it. It's so weird that all these feelings were from just one girl.
" L, be ready in 5. We're leaving for our signing soon." Sunggyu yelled from across the dorm.
I turned off my ipod and slid it into my pocket.
I had been ready for the last half hour. There was something about today that gave me a jittery and excited feeling.
I honestly couldn't wait to go to the signing.
We all filed into the car and I couldn't contain my excitement as we all got in.
Maybe I just had a good night sleep last night...
We arrived at the venue and the sight of the hundreds of fans was amazing.
An ocean of placards all saying Infinite. gave me a jolt of happiness.
Signings were one of the most tiring but joyful events.
Hours of signing was bound to kill but seeing all those fans filled me with happiness.
