Kpop is not a joke to me.
Kpop is not just a phase to me.

It really gets on my nerves when people treat it that way.
Kpop is music and music holds a special place within me. Well basically music is my life. And making fun of kpop and dissing it, is pretty much making fun of and dissing me.

It annoys me that the fact that people only say stuff about kpop is because it's korean. If it were in English it would be no big deal.
To me, that's just like not liking your absolute favourite song if you were to translate it to korean. So you pretty only like your favourite song because it is in English?

Kpop is really similar to Western music and in some ways, I think, better. So the only deal is that it's in a different language. That also really annoys because the entire world listens to American music. Whether of not they understand it, they still have learnt to love and appreciate it. It's just arrogant Westerner countries who can't accept music because of the language.

We pretty much live in an age where if you don't understand something, you look it up on the Internet. I don't see how not understanding something can't stop you from something that is so good.

And like do half the people even understand what they're listening to on the radio anyway?! So I just can't understand why people have to be so rude about my love for kpop. I love kpop, well music in general, like I love my friends (sometimes I feel like I love kpop more) and family.
It's just something that's a part of me and if people continue to be so annoying about it, I swear I won't let it go.
